The Director of the Fes-Meknes Regional Academy for Education and Training chaired the closing ceremony of the first edition of the “Boot Camp Digischool” national competition, organized by the academy in collaboration with Huawei, which took place from November 27 to 29, 2024. The competition targeted middle school students from four regions: Eastern Morocco, Drâa-Tafilalet, Beni Mellal-Khénifra, and Fes-Meknes. Participants took part in challenges designed to develop their digital skills and encourage them to create technological solutions for educational and administrative challenges.
The Director emphasized that this initiative marks a promising start towards a future filled with creativity, stating that the academy will continue to support projects that enhance students’ skills in digital transformation. The event featured interactive workshops, where students learned how to turn their ideas into executable projects, such as applications aimed at improving the quality of education and organizing lessons.
At the end of the ceremony, the winning teams, which presented innovative technology projects, were honored. Among the winners were the “Les féroces” team from the Eastern region and the “Smart-School” team from Fes-Meknes, who received encouraging prizes and invitations to participate in the next edition of the competition.
