Marrakech Police Dismantles Hard Drug Trafficking Network and Arrests Four Individuals

The Anti-Drug Unit of the Marrakech Security Department successfully dismantled a criminal network specializing in hard drug trafficking on Saturday night, resulting in the arrest of four individuals, including three African nationals and a Moroccan woman.

Security sources reported that the operation came after monitoring suspicious movements of the network members. The security team executed a precise raid operation that led to the arrest of the suspects following a chase that extended from Al-Saada district to Mabrouka neighborhood.

The security operation resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of hard drugs that were prepared for distribution, along with equipment and tools used in this illegal activity.

The suspects were taken to the Marrakech Security Department headquarters, where they were placed in custody for further investigation and the completion of arrest reports. Security agencies continue their investigations to identify other individuals involved in this network, in preparation for presenting the detainees before the competent public prosecutor’s office.
