Saint Lucia Commends Moroccan Monarch’s Initiatives on the Sahel and Atlantic for a Prosperous and Stable Africa

Rabat – Saint Lucia praised, on Friday in Rabat, the Royal initiatives concerning the Sahel and Atlantic regions, which “promote peace, stability, and shared prosperity” and “offer unprecedented opportunities to enhance regional integration and cooperation.”

In a joint statement issued following talks between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Saint Lucian counterpart, Alva Romanus Baptiste, the latter praised the Kingdom’s commitment, under the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in promoting fruitful cooperation with the Caribbean region.

In this context, Saint Lucia expressed, in the same joint statement, its “great appreciation for His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s vision for South-South cooperation,” emphasizing that this Royal vision strengthens “stability and security in the Caribbean region.”
