French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte will begin a three-day official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco from October 28 to 30, 2024, featuring a series of official meetings and important events.
The French President begins his visit on Monday, October 28, with an official reception ceremony at Mechouar Square in Rabat, followed by a summit meeting with His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace. The first day will also include a signing ceremony of bilateral agreements at the Royal Guest Palace.
On the second day, Macron will hold a series of meetings with senior Moroccan officials, starting with Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch and the heads of both houses of Parliament. He will also visit the Mohammed V Mausoleum before delivering a speech to the Moroccan Parliament.
The visit program also includes economic and cultural activities, including participation in the closing ceremony of the Moroccan-French Business Forum at the International University of Rabat, and attending a special event focused on the gaming industry, before attending an official dinner hosted by His Majesty the King in his honor.
On the final day of the visit, the French President will participate in a discussion on food security and sustainable agriculture in Africa at the OCP Foundation, before concluding his visit with an address to the French community residing in Morocco in the gardens of the French Residence.
