The Forum of Initiatives for Development and Solidarity organized a scientific symposium on Thursday, October 24, 2024, addressing “Climate Change, Water Resources, and Development Questions in Taounate Province,” held at the Taounate Province Administrative Annex Hall.
The symposium marked the opening of the fourth edition of the Tamezgana Mountain Culture and Heritage Forum, which is being held in partnership with several official institutions, including the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (Culture Sector), Taounate Province Administration, Fez-Meknes Region, Taounate Provincial Council, and Tamezgana Commune.
This symposium holds particular significance given the climate challenges facing the region and their impact on water resources and local development. It aims to discuss possible solutions to address these challenges and promote sustainable development in the province.
The Tamezgana Mountain Culture and Heritage Forum serves as an annual platform that combines culture and development, highlighting vital issues affecting the region and its inhabitants.
