Morocco’s team, represented by students from the Mohammedia School of Engineering (EMI) at Mohammed V University in Rabat, achieved a remarkable success by securing second place globally in the Enactus World Cup 2024, held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from October 4 to 6.
The Moroccan team distinguished itself with its project “EPIC,” which focuses on developing sustainable and effective solutions for beekeeping. The project aims to address environmental and economic challenges while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
Competing against more than 2,000 participants from over 30 countries, the Moroccan team earned the title of World Vice-Champion, while first place went to the Tunis Business School team for their “BOVITA” project, which offers natural alternatives to antibiotics for treating bovine mastitis.
This global event brought together more than 700 young social entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration and intercultural connections among participants committed to solving critical global challenges.
This achievement not only reflects Morocco’s leadership in social entrepreneurship but also confirms its youth’s ability to contribute positively to solving global issues. The Moroccan team’s success serves as an inspiration for future generations of entrepreneurs in Morocco and beyond.
