Mr. Nasser Bourita, Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, received today in the capital Rabat a series of high-level diplomatic delegations, as part of strengthening the international relations of the Kingdom of Morocco.
At the top of these meetings was the reception of a delegation from the US Senate led by Senator Jerry Moran. During the meeting, Senator Moran praised the leadership role played by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, affirming Morocco’s position as a factor of stability in the region and the world.
Bourita also received Ms. Ariya Karnaval, who presented her credentials as the new resident representative of the United Nations Development Program in the Kingdom of Morocco. This appointment comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation between Morocco and the United Nations in the field of sustainable development.
In a third meeting, the Moroccan Minister received Mr. Adam Hairyke, who presented his credentials as the new Director of the North Africa Office of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission. This appointment strengthens Morocco’s role in regional coordination of economic policies in North Africa.
These diverse meetings reflect the central role that Morocco plays on the international stage, and its keenness to strengthen its relations with various international partners, whether bilaterally with the United States, or at the level of international organizations such as the United Nations.
These meetings confirm the continuation of Moroccan diplomacy in enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a trusted partner in regional and international issues, and as a center for stability and development in the region.
