Morocco, represented by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, is participating in a meeting focused on addressing the resurgence of ISIS.
The meeting is chaired by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and includes 87 delegations from various countries.
The objective of this gathering is to explore ways to prevent the re-emergence of the Islamic State (ISIS) and provide necessary support to countries affected by the threats posed by this terrorist organization, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of its establishment.
The Moroccan delegation also includes Morocco’s Ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani, and the Director of Global Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Chakouri.
Discussions will center around security issues and international cooperation in combating terrorism.
