This description reflected anticipated waves of migration to the UK, rather than simply exploring Western values.
H.Y. believed that most visa recipients would use them for purposes such as work, immigration, or marriage, rather than tourism. However, after approximately seven months of implementing the e-visa system, the UK Foreign Office announced the cancellation of this system for Jordanian citizens. This decision raises questions about the reasons behind it and its impact on Jordanians who had planned to use these visas for various purposes.
