Rabat – The General Directorate of National Security announced on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, a series of new appointments to positions of responsibility within public security and administrative management services in several cities, including Fes, Essaouira, Klemim, Salé, and Ouarzazate.
These appointments are part of an internal strategy aimed at injecting fresh blood into the security institution and benefiting from young and experienced talents capable of ensuring citizen security and protecting property.
Six new officials have been appointed to key positions, including five police precinct chiefs in Klemim, Fes, Ouarzazate, and Essaouira, in addition to the head of the traffic accidents department in the Fes Security Prefecture and the head of a police administrative annex at the Salé regional security.
The criteria for selecting the new officials focused on high professionalism, integrity, and expertise in the field of citizen security protection.
The appointments aim to strengthen the sense of security and improve police services, in line with the new strategy adopted by the General Directorate of National Security to enhance communication between the security institution and citizens and open up to society.
The Director General of National Security, Abdel Latif Hamouchi, emphasized the importance of these appointments in reinforcing the modern security approach, stressing the need for continuous renewal in positions of responsibility to achieve security and stability throughout the Kingdom.
