The area of Ouzoud Waterfalls in Azilal Province has been the scene of heightened security activity following the discovery of a young man’s body, found hanging from a tree by a rope under mysterious circumstances.
According to initial information, the man, who was in his thirties and from the province of Kelaa des Sraghna, served as a local councilor in Kelaa Municipality. His body was discovered in a remote location, raising concerns among local authorities and members of the Royal Gendarmerie.
The body has been transferred to the morgue at the Beni Mellal Regional Hospital, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the precise cause of death. Meanwhile, the Public Prosecution has launched a comprehensive investigation under its supervision to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
