As part of their efforts to combat the trafficking of unlicensed liquor, the Royal Gendarmerie of Tahla, Taza region, succeeded on Monday in arresting two people trafficking in the locally banned traditional liquor known as “mahia”.
According to the preliminary data available, the two separate security operations were successful, and a quantity of these dangerous substances was seized in the possession of the suspects.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the two suspects have a history of illegal activity, highlighting their determination to break the law and endanger citizens.
The four suspects were taken into custody, while the police are continuing their investigations to identify the rest of those involved in this criminal act.
