Tight coordination between intelligence and police dismantles a criminal network active in organizing illegal immigration and human trafficking. Here’s what happened!

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 12, police officers of the regional security of El Jadida, in coordination with the services of the General Directorate of National Surveillance, arrested six people, aged between 24 and 30, suspected of being linked to a criminal network active in the organization of illegal immigration and human trafficking.

According to the preliminary data available, the arrests took place in the city of El Jadida and the village of “Two Ashtouka”, where the suspects were found in flagrante delicto while preparing to carry out an illegal migration operation via sea routes for four candidates, aged between 16 and 26, who were received in the village of “Moulay Abdallah” on the outskirts of El Jadida.

The seizure and search operation carried out in this case resulted in the seizure of three cars, a rubber dinghy, a marine engine, three air pumps, a white weapon and a sum of money suspected to be the proceeds of this criminal activity.

The suspects were taken into custody at the request of the judicial investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to uncover all the circumstances and circumstances of this case and identify all its extensions and possible links.
