3.1 magnitude earthquake recorded in Tetouan provinceThe National Institute of Geophysics announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 1.3 on the Richter scale was recorded on Saturday morning in the Tetouan region.
The institute explained, in a warning bulletin, that : “This tremor, whose epicenter was located in the Hamra community, occurred at 3:44 minutes and 22 seconds in the morning (GMT+1).”
The same source added that : “This tremor, which was recorded at a depth of 72 kilometers, occurred at the confluence of latitude 35.397 degrees north and longitude 5.939 degrees west.”
