Ministry of Justice wins two pioneering digital transformation awards at Gitex Africa Morocco

The Ministry of Justice was distinguished yesterday, Friday 31 May 2024, at the Gitex Africa Morocco exhibition in Marrakech, by winning two awards from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, organized by the Ministry to encourage and recognize outstanding initiatives in the field of digital management.

The Ministry of Justice, an active participant in the event, won the first prize in the OPEN DATA category, an award of encouragement presented by the Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Ms. Githa Mazour, to the Director of Modernization and Information Systems, Ms. Samia Choukri, commending the Ministry’s efforts in this field.

In a related context, the Ministry received another encouragement award in the eRegister category, along with the other winners. This award, the second award of the ceremony, was handed over to the General Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Abdelrahim Mayad, by the Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform.

These awards come as a culmination of the great efforts made by the Ministry of Justice in its digital transformation strategy, which is part of a broader strategy that the government is working on comprehensively, demonstrating its full commitment to technological and digital development.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of appreciation awards to all participants and actors of Gitex Africa Morocco 2024, highlighting the collaborative spirit and success of this important event.
