Students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Fez staged a protest under the slogan “Candlelight Vigil” on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 8:00 pm on Hassan II Street in the city of Fez.
This protest comes in light of the “tense situation” in Morocco’s public medical schools, through which students seek to express their demands and emphasize their right to quality training and appropriate study conditions.
In addition to students, parents of students also participated in the vigil in support of their children’s demands and to send a strong message to the concerned authorities to respond to their demands.
The students hope that through this protest, they will be able to make their voice heard and find an urgent solution to the crisis in Morocco’s medical schools.
