Publication of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection:
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Professor Khaled Ait Taleb, received, on Monday, May 6, 2024 in Rabat, the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic, Mr. Vlastimil Falk and his accompanying delegation. This high-level meeting formed the focus of discussions to enhance opportunities for cooperation between Morocco and the Czech Republic in the field of health and protection. Social, in light of the high royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory and support, related to launching a radical and profound reform of the national health system.
These talks also constituted an opportunity to discuss new opportunities for cooperation between Morocco and the Czech Republic, in addition to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in several fields, especially encouraging and strengthening fruitful cooperation in the health and social protection sector in line with the common aspirations of the two countries in this field.
This meeting is considered the first of its kind, after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Morocco and the Czech Republic to discuss areas of cooperation in the field of health and social protection.
This meeting confirms the commitment of the two countries to strengthening their partnership in the field of public health, which enables the establishment of a framework for technical cooperation in areas of common interest, in addition to exchanging information, sharing best practices, and benefiting from experiences and expertise in the field of health between the two parties.
It should be noted that cooperation between Morocco and the Czech Republic in the field of health is built on solid foundations, especially after the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the government of the Czech Republic in Prague on October 26, 2023.
