Yesterday, in Banjul, the capital of Gambia, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, held discussions with the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk.
The talks, which took place on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Islamic Summit Conference scheduled for May 4 and 5 in Banjul, focused on the strong relationship between Morocco and Mauritania as well as regional and international issues.
Prior to this meeting, Minister Bourita held talks with a number of other participants in the Islamic Summit, which will be attended by heads of state and government of member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Minister Bourita met with diplomats from Yemen, Niger, Gambia, Brunei, Gabon, Mali and Senegal to discuss various issues.
