After Fez News was the one who, in coordination with sources close to the victims, exploded the scandal of sexual harassment by one of the directors of an educational institution in the rehabilitation sector, affiliated with the Regional Directorate of Moulay Yacoub, with a female student inside his office, on April 25 of this month, with the title (A Huge Sexual Harassment Scandal). The secondary education sector in the Ain Chekf community was shaken and female students documented harassment on video. The King’s Attorney General in Fez ordered an investigation into the sexual harassment scandal, to search for the suspect, and to close the borders in his face.
The newspaper was the first to address the issue in a professional manner, with full respect for the law, and with a comprehensive commitment to the ethics of the profession of journalism and publishing. Firstly, out of respect for the presumption of innocence and the personal privacy of those concerned, it did not publish the videotape despite its availability, and contented itself with publishing a copy of it with concealment. However, the Education Directorate, after Fez News published an article on the subject, said in an explanatory statement that an electronic newspaper had circulated the aforementioned video on its page, without contacting the newspaper to inquire. We reiterate that Fez News did not publish the video in any way, neither on its website nor on any of its social media pages.
