Development projects and partnership agreements concerning the role of informal settlements are key focal points on the agenda of the regular session of the Taza Communal Council

The Taza Communal Council is expected to hold its regular session for the month of May 2024 on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

This comes in accordance with the provisions of Article 33 of Organic Law 113.14 and Article 6 of the Internal Regulations of the Communal Council in its fourth paragraph.

The agenda includes:

  1. Study and approval of the delegated management contract for the management of the municipal waste landfill facility and similar facilities.
  2. Study and approval of the establishment of a local development company for the management of neighborhood playgrounds and some communal facilities in the city of Taza.
  3. Study and approval of a partnership agreement between the Taza Communal Council and the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy for the preparation of housing for residents of informal settlements in the city of Taza.
  4. Approval of the transfer of some allocations from the operating budget.
  5. Approval of the transfer of some allocations from the investment budget.
  6. Approval of a loan request from the Communal Investment Fund.
  7. Re-study and approval of a regulatory resolution project related to the temporary communal land occupation in the territory of the Taza Communal Council without constructing a building.
  8. Approval of the proposed commercial value by the committee responsible for administrative expertise for the proposed property to host the economic activities zone along the Al Hoceima road.
  9. Approval of the naming of some streets and neighborhoods in the city of Taza.
  10. Approval of the cancellation of Council Resolution No. 2 dated October 11, 2021, regarding the formation of Council support committees.
  11. Approval of the reconstitution of the Council’s standing committees.
  12. Approval of the establishment of the Budget, Financial Affairs, and Programming Committee.
  13. Election of the President of the Budget, Financial Affairs, and Programming Committee.
  14. Approval of the reconstitution of the Public Facilities and Services Committee.
  15. Election of the President of the Public Facilities and Services Committee and its Vice President.
  16. Election of the President of the Urban Planning, Territorial Planning, and Environment Committee.
  17. Approval of the reconstitution of the Human Development, Social Affairs, and Cultural Committee.
  18. Election of the President of the Human Development, Social Affairs, and Cultural Committee.
  19. Approval of the reconstitution of the committee responsible for Youth and Sports Affairs.
  20. Election of the President of the committee responsible for Youth and Sports Affairs and its Vice President.
