A joint statement from the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors announced that both chambers of Parliament will hold a joint public session dedicated to presenting the report of the President of the Court of Auditors on the council’s activities for the fiscal year 2023-2024. This session is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 15, at 10:00 AM in the main session hall of the House of Representatives.
The statement emphasized the importance of attendance by members of both chambers for this session, which will be held in accordance with Article 148 of the Constitution. This article stipulates that the President of the Court of Auditors must present a report on the court’s activities before Parliament, followed by a discussion.
Furthermore, the same article of the 2011 constitutional document confirms that the Court of Auditors submits an annual report to the King, which includes a statement of all its activities, including special reports and judicial decisions.
