A government council meeting will be held this Thursday under the presidency of Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, as stated in a communiqué from his department.
At the beginning of its proceedings, the council will review a draft law related to the creation and organization of the Foundation for Social Works of Prison Administration and Reintegration. Following this, the council will examine two draft decrees; the first concerns aggregation competitions for education and training, while the second involves amendments to the decree related to the preservation of maritime mortgages.
The council will continue its work by reviewing a framework cooperation agreement in the logistics field between the government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed in Rabat on November 13, 2023. This will be followed by a draft law approving said framework agreement and an agreement on cooperation between the two governments in the energy sector, also signed on November 13 in Rabat.
The government council will conclude its work by examining proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
