Dismantling Criminal Networks:
- 123 criminal networks specializing in organizing irregular migration and human trafficking were dismantled, a 2% increase from the previous year.
- 425 organizers and intermediaries in migration operations were arrested.
- 713 forged travel documents were seized.
- Migration attempts of 32,449 individuals were thwarted, including 9,250 foreigners.
Cybercrime and Extortion:
- A 40% increase in crimes related to modern technology and cybercrime extortion, totaling 8,333 cases.
- 3,265 criminal contents of an extortionate nature were detected.
- 956 international delegations were directed in the context of these cases.
- 563 individuals were arrested and referred to justice.
Sexual Extortion:
- A 23% decrease in sexual extortion cases using information systems, totaling 391 cases.
- 163 individuals involved were arrested, targeting 394 victims, including 123 foreigners.
Financial and Economic Crimes:
- 656 money laundering cases were handled, a 27% increase from the previous year.
- Criminal proceeds worth approximately 332 million dirhams were seized.
- 504 cases related to financial corruption crimes were recorded, a 5% decrease from the previous year.
Counter-terrorism:
- 32 individuals suspected of involvement in terrorism-related cases were referred to the competent public prosecutor’s office.
