Moroccan Professor Mehdi Bennis from the University of Oulu in Finland continues to shine globally in the field of 6G technology, as he has been selected for the fifth consecutive year among the world’s top scientists in this vital field.
Dr. Bennis has demonstrated his outstanding scientific competence by publishing more than 200 research papers in international conferences and prestigious scientific journals, in addition to his contributions to authoring chapters in specialized books. In recognition of his remarkable achievements, he has received numerous prestigious awards from global institutions and universities specializing in 6G technology.
Dr. Bennis currently holds several important positions that reflect his prestigious scientific status. He is the Editor-in-Chief specializing in Data Science for Communications at The Frontiers in Communications and Networks journal. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in Finland and a Research Fellow at the Academy of Finland.
At the University of Oulu in Finland, Dr. Bennis works as a professor at the Centre for Wireless Communications, where he chairs the Intelligent Connectivity and Networks/Systems (ICON) group. His main research interests focus on advanced areas such as radio resource management, heterogeneous networks, game theory, and distributed machine learning in 5G networks.
