Residents of the Zawagha area and Sidi Hadi neighborhood have issued an urgent call to the company responsible for the sewage network renovation project, demanding repair of damages caused by excavation work.
The affected residents explained that the company has stopped working for over a month without re-paving the areas it had dug up, leaving extensive unpaved areas.
Residents added that recent rainfall transformed these excavated areas into muddy water pools, highlighting the risks to vulnerable groups such as elderly, women, and children who are exposed to slipping and injury hazards.
The residents urge the concerned authorities to intervene urgently to compel the company to repair the roads and ensure citizens’ safety.
