The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported that Morocco will experience significant weather changes on Tuesday, including rainfall and local showers in various regions such as the Rif, the Saïss plain, the phosphate plateaus and Oulmes, the Atlas Mountains and adjacent western areas, as well as the northern and central plains.
Cloudy skies are expected over the southern provinces, the eastern region, and the southeastern areas, with scattered rains anticipated in these locations.
Snow is forecast to blanket the peaks of the High Atlas Mountains, while the Atlas regions, the southeast, and northern parts of the Sahara provinces will face moderately strong winds accompanied by dust storms, potentially affecting air quality.
Temperatures will range between 4°C and 10°C in mountainous areas like the Atlas, Rif, and high eastern plateaus. The southern provinces and Souss region will see warmer conditions, with temperatures between 15°C and 20°C, while the rest of the country will experience temperatures ranging from 10°C to 16°C, alongside a general daytime cooling trend.
Citizens, particularly those in mountainous and wind-prone areas, are advised to remain cautious and follow updated weather forecasts. These dynamic weather patterns signal the beginning of the rainy autumn season, anticipated to improve agricultural conditions and strengthen water resources.
