The Governor of Moulay Yacoub Province has sent a correspondence to the President of Moulay Yacoub Municipal Council, under the supervision of the city’s Pasha, on October 30, 2024, regarding the ongoing dispute between the Moulay Yacoub Municipality and “Soda Bermy” Natural Mineral Water Company.
In his correspondence, the Governor informed that the Administrative Court of Fez has provided the case services with a copy of the opening petition and summons for the hearing, under file number 1113/7101/2024.
According to the letter, the municipality is required to appoint a public expert or a specialist chosen by the court to conduct an on-site inspection, assess the condition of the premises, and determine the required repairs in accordance with the agreed-upon specifications, including the method and cost of repairs.
The Governor requested the Council President to monitor the proceedings of this case and keep him informed of any developments in due course, emphasizing the importance of careful follow-up on this legal file.
This correspondence comes within the context of efforts to resolve the ongoing dispute between the municipality and the mineral water company, which requires precise legal and administrative monitoring to ensure the rights of all concerned parties.
