Rising Death Toll from Military Operations in South Lebanon

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, that 77 people were killed and 180 others were injured during the past twenty-four hours due to military operations in the south of the country.

The Public Health Emergency Operations Center revealed details of casualties in several areas, with 7 deaths and 24 injuries in Ain Baal, 5 deaths and one injury in Borj Al-Shamali, while the final toll in Haret Saida reached 9 deaths and 38 injuries.

The border region has witnessed military escalation during the past month, including airstrikes and ground incursions in mountainous areas, with clashes erupting in several towns.

According to Israeli sources, these operations aim to secure the northern region and ensure the return of residents to their homes.
