The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an orange-level warning bulletin forecasting heavy rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds, and local hail, as well as snowfall and cold weather in many provinces of the Kingdom from Monday to Wednesday.
According to the bulletin, the provinces of Taourirt, Figuig, Guercif, Boulemane, Errachidia, Tinghir, and Midelt will experience rainfall ranging between 35 and 50 mm from Monday midnight until Tuesday 6:00 AM.
The provinces of Ouarzazate, Al Haouz, Sefrou, Taza, Beni Mellal, Azilal, Mdiq-Fnideq, and Fahs-Anjra will receive rainfall ranging between 25 and 30 mm on Monday from 6:00 AM until 11:00 PM.
Snow will fall in the provinces of Boulemane, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Al Haouz, Tinghir, Midelt, Guercif, and Ouarzazate at elevations above 2000 meters, with accumulations between 10 and 40 centimeters, from Monday midnight until Tuesday 6:00 AM.
Cold weather will affect the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal, Al Haouz, Midelt, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Boulemane, and Ifrane from Monday to Wednesday, with minimum temperatures ranging between -3 and +3 degrees Celsius.
