Government Announces New Financial Support for Students Ahead of School Year

As part of ongoing government efforts to support education and improve living conditions for Moroccan families, Mustafa Baïtass, the minister in charge of relations with Parliament and government spokesperson, announced new financial aid for a significant number of children as the school year begins.

In statements made after the government council meeting, Baïtass explained that the government plans to provide financial support ranging from 200 to 300 dirhams per child, depending on their grade level. It is estimated that around 3 million children will benefit from this assistance by the end of September.

Baïtass emphasized that this support is part of the government’s comprehensive policy to enhance education and assist families facing difficult social conditions, highlighting education as a fundamental pillar for development.

Furthermore, he noted that the government is not stopping at this initiative, but continues its efforts to support the subsidy fund and sectors such as health and education.

In another context, Baïtass affirmed that these government initiatives aim to ensure that no child is deprived of the opportunity for education, reflecting the government’s commitment to addressing citizens’ needs and improving their quality of life.

These measures come at a time when many families are experiencing economic hardships, making government support a vital tool for alleviating burdens and enhancing educational conditions for children.
