Abdelatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, undertook a work visit to Turkey from September 19 to 21. This visit aims to enhance security cooperation between the two countries and facilitate the exchange of expertise in security technology and innovation.
During his visit, Hammouchi met with Munir Karaloğlu, the Deputy Minister of Interior, and Salami Yildiz, Director General of Intelligence. The discussions focused on shared security issues and ways to strengthen cooperation to achieve stability and address common security threats.
The meetings were marked by a consensus on the importance of enhancing security collaboration and sharing expertise across various security specialties, reflecting the high level of relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Turkey.
These discussions coincided with a visit to the Internal Security Equipment Fair (IGEF24) in Ankara, which serves as an international platform to showcase the latest innovations in security and defense.
Hammouchi reviewed the latest security equipment and technologies that could enhance the effectiveness of Morocco’s security system in facing increasing criminal challenges.
This visit underscores the importance of developing international security cooperation and bilateral partnerships as effective means to combat global threats such as terrorism and transnational organized crime.
