In a gesture underscoring the religious and spiritual significance of the occasion, the Ministry of Royal Palaces, Protocols, and Decorations has announced that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, will preside over the commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabawi) this Sunday.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry, the celebration will take place at the historic Hassan Mosque in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM, corresponding to the 11th of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446 AH (September 15, 2024 CE).
This occasion is considered one of the most important religious celebrations in the Kingdom of Morocco, where Muslims commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
