Sefrou – In a significant step towards developing the education sector, the Governor of Sefrou Province inaugurated Ibn Al-Khatib Secondary School in the commune of Sidi Khiar. This event coincides with the start of the 2024/2025 academic year and reflects the local authorities’ commitment to improving the quality of education in the region.
The new school is characterized by its modern design and state-of-the-art equipment, providing an excellent learning environment for students. This step comes as part of efforts aimed at reducing school dropout rates and improving the quality of services in public educational institutions.
In a related context, Sefrou Province has witnessed a notable expansion in educational offerings, with the establishment of five new educational institutions. This expansion is part of the implementation of the 2022/2026 roadmap objectives, which aim to enhance the educational system in the province.
It is worth noting that the number of pioneering institutions in the province has seen a significant increase, reaching 23 institutions in primary education, up from just 4 previously. Additionally, 3 new institutions have been added to lower secondary education.
These steps represent a qualitative leap in the field of education in Sefrou Province, providing positive opportunities for students to succeed and excel.
