The Wali of the Fez-Meknes region and the Governor of the Fez province, Mr. Said Aznibar, has issued strict instructions to local authorities in the Fez province aimed at improving sanitation services and enhancing all public proximity services in the city.

These instructions come within the framework of preparations for the start of the 2024/2025 school year and in anticipation of the upcoming royal visit.

The instructions included directing the efforts of local authorities to intensify campaigns to collect stray dogs from neighborhoods and streets, in addition to improving the level of sanitation services to ensure a clean and safe environment for citizens.

The need to enhance all public proximity services, including infrastructure, social and health services, was also emphasized to ensure meeting the needs of the population and raising the standard of living in the city. These measures aim to ensure the city’s readiness and full preparedness to receive the new academic year and the anticipated royal visit, with a focus on improving all basic services that matter to citizens.
