بمتحف المتروبولتان للفنون بنيويورك.
تعتبر ساحة باتي كادبي بيرش جزءا أساسيا من مجموعة الفن الإسلامي المرموقة التي يتوفر عليها متحف المتروبولتان. وبالرغم من إنشاءها سنة 2011، إلا أن الصناع التقليديين من فاس استخدموا تقنيات تعود للقرن الخامس عشر من أجل ترتيب قطع البلاط على شكل أنماط تقليدية تحيط بنافورة على شكل صحن مستوحاة من “المدرسات”. بعد التشاور مع الخبيرة المغربية نادية الرزيني، استعان المتحف بخدمات الصناع التقليديين المحليين من أجل تصميم الساحة الموضحة في الصورة.

Where can you find this beautiful Moroccan-style courtyard?
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City!
The famous American museum, known affectionately as “the Met” opened new galleries in 2011 which showcase the richness and beauty of Islamic Art. The centerpiece of this collection is the Moroccan courtyard, which was created by a team of artisans from Fez who traveled to New York to carefully create the work. Modeled on a 14th century Moroccan courtyard, the artisans used tiles, fired and hand-cut in Fez, to create exquisite zellij mosaics and employed their immense talents to carve wood in the style of Fez’s Attarin madrasa. The end result was one of the most celebrated works in the Met’s permanent collection, one which allows millions of visitors – from America and across the world – to marvel at Morocco’s breathtaking tradition of fine artistry.
