A fire broke out on Saturday in one of the rooms of the “Pestana CR7” hotel in Marrakech, owned by football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The fire, which started in an empty room, was quickly contained. As soon as the flames broke out, civil protection teams intervened at the scene to extinguish the fire. Thanks to their rapid response, the fire was brought under control without any injuries reported among the hotel’s employees or staff.
According to initial findings, the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit. An investigation has been launched to determine the precise cause of the incident.
Despite this incident, the hotel quickly resumed its normal operations, without affecting the comfort or safety of its guests.
