The fuel sector in Morocco has experienced a noticeable change in fuel prices, with a slight decrease in the price of diesel starting from Tuesday, April 1. This decline amounted to 0.16 MAD per liter in most fuel stations across the country, according to local sources.
This decrease is the second consecutive reduction, following the first drop in March, when the price of diesel fell by 12 centimes. This trend of price adjustments reflects a relative stability in fuel markets.
On the other hand, the price of gasoline remained stable after the drop it experienced in mid-March, which amounted to approximately 50 centimes. According to available data from fuel distributors in Casablanca, the new prices, which came into effect on April 1, remain unchanged across different stations, with the price of diesel at around 11.14 MAD per liter, while gasoline prices stayed stable at approximately 13.10 MAD per liter.
