Last Friday, royal grants were distributed in Fes to underprivileged families and individuals in vulnerable situations as part of a humanitarian initiative led by a delegation from the Royal Chamberlain’s Office.
The ceremony, presided over by Mohamed Saad Eddine Smires, an official from the Royal Chamber, saw the distribution of grants to approximately 475 beneficiaries, including noble descendants, individuals with chronic illnesses, and impoverished children.
Additionally, orphans and the elderly benefited from the royal grants, with special provisions such as medical glasses distributed to children in need. The event was attended by the Secretary-General of the Wilaya of the Fes-Meknes region, regional and provincial representatives of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, as well as local authorities.
This royal initiative aims to support struggling families, the sick, and those in need within the Fes region, reflecting the ongoing commitment of the royal family to social welfare.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, attendees prayed for the protection and long life of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, for the well-being of Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid, and the entire royal family. They also offered prayers for the late kings Mohammed V and Hassan II, asking for divine mercy upon them in recognition of their great contributions to the nation.
