It’s official. The Saudi Muslim committee has confirmed the sighting of the crescent moon this Saturday.
Therefore, this Saturday, March 29th, will be the last day of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia, and Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30th, 2025.
In Morocco, the sighting of the crescent moon announcing the beginning of the month of Shawwal will take place on Sunday, 29 Ramadan 1446 AH, corresponding to March 30th, 2025. The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has called on judges, observers, and delegates of Islamic affairs to inform them of the sighting or non-sighting of the crescent moon by contacting the following telephone numbers: (0537.76.11.45), (0537.76.09.32), (0537.76.05.49), and (0537.76.89.54) or by fax number (0537.76.17.21).
It is worth noting that astronomer Ali Amraoui had confirmed that Eid Al-Fitr would be on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, based on astronomical calculations.
