The National Office of Railways (ONCF) has announced an exceptional train schedule for Eid al-Fitr, running from Friday, March 28 to Sunday, April 6, 2025, to facilitate the movement of travelers in optimal comfort and safety.
According to a statement released on Friday, the new plan includes an increase in services on main routes and the addition of new trains, bringing the daily number of trips to approximately 235 during this period.
Regarding the “Al Boraq” service, the office confirmed that there will be hourly departures between Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, except for the 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM slots during peak hours. The train’s capacity will also be increased to meet the growing demand.
For the “Atlas” trains, additional seats will be available, and extra trips will be scheduled on routes connecting Marrakech, Casablanca, Fes, Oujda, Nador, Khouribga, and Safi. Additionally, the Casablanca-Safi line will be supported from Thursday to Sunday, with trains running every hour from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM to serve Mohammed V Airport, alongside trains every 30 minutes on the Casablanca-Rabat-Kenitra route.
The National Office of Railways encourages passengers to book their tickets in advance for both outbound and return trips to avoid overcrowding and to ensure seat availability, especially during this busy travel period.
