The Regional Delegation of Islamic Affairs and the Local Religious Council of the city of Fes have announced the arrangements for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr for the year 1446H. According to the official statement from the concerned authorities, the Eid prayer will take place on Eid day at 7:00 AM at various prayer sites and mosques across different neighborhoods of the city.
The announcement specified several designated prayer sites, including:
- Saadians Prayer Site (Saadians Stadium)
- Hay Azhar Prayer Site (Hay Azhar Stadium)
- Bab al-Futuh Prayer Site (Al-Qubab)
- Douar Arifa Prayer Site (Bab al-Futuh Stadium)
- Ben Dabbab Prayer Site (Hay al-Masalla)
- Bensouda Prayer Site (Bensouda Stadium)
- Al-Naseem Prayer Site (Hay Naseem Bensouda)
- Al-Sakhinat Prayer Site (Sidi Hrazem)
- Oulad Tayeb Prayer Site (Douar Oulad al-Hawari)
In addition to these, the prayer will also be held at several prominent mosques throughout the city.
As part of the arrangements, the delegation and the religious council have called on the residents of Fes to attend the designated prayer sites and mosques on time, emphasizing the importance of adhering to organizational measures to ensure the prayer proceeds smoothly in a serene and respectful atmosphere.
This initiative reflects the local authorities’ commitment to facilitating the Eid prayer in a peaceful environment, with multiple prayer locations spread throughout the city to ensure easy access for worshippers.
