His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, presided over a religious ceremony on the evening of Thursday, March 27, 2025, marking the blessed Laylat al-Qadr at the Royal Palace in Rabat, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid, Prince Moulay Ahmed, and Prince Moulay Ismail.

After performing the Maghrib and Tarawih prayers, the event also witnessed the completion of Sahih al-Bukhari, with Mr. Hassan Id Said, a member of the Higher Council of Ulema, reciting the “Hadith of the Completion,” after it was narrated by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Tourabi, a member of the Local Scientific Council of Rabat.

In a gesture reflecting the royal attention to Quran memorization, verses from the Holy Quran were recited by 12-year-old Maryam Asim, who won first place in the Mohammed VI National Quran Memorization and Recitation Award. Afterward, Maryam Asim approached His Majesty the King to receive her award.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of Mohammed VI Awards for Quranic Scholars and Hadith Experts, with the winners being: Mr. Mohammed Idrissi Tahiri from Agadir and Mr. Mustafa Azriah from Tetouan. Additionally, the Mohammed VI Awards for Quranic Schools were distributed in its three branches to Mr. Abdel Salam Khayali from Kelaat Sraghna, Mr. Abdullah Rais from Tiznit, and Mr. Mohammed Mazouz from Tangier.

In conclusion, the Mohammed VI Awards for Call to Prayer and Tahleel were presented to Mr. Ayoub Al-Nadi from Tangier and Mr. Abdelkader Ben Rabeh from Oued Zem.

The spontaneous actions of Prince Moulay Ahmed, the young child who innocently interacted with the spiritual atmosphere during prayer, caught attention. His innocent behavior and playful gestures during the Tarawih prayers added warmth and closeness to the event, touching the hearts of Moroccans who expressed their admiration for his spontaneity and humility.

Prayers were raised to Allah Almighty for the preservation of the Commander of the Faithful and for the happiness of Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, with blessings for his brother, Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of the royal family. The prayers also included supplications for the late Kings Mohammed V and Hassan II.
