URGENT: Minister of Justice Announces Administrative Staff Rotation After 4 Years of Service

Morocco’s Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, has revealed a new decision regarding the launch of a rotation movement for administrative officials in regional justice directorates and courts, as part of strengthening administrative dynamics and modernizing the sector.

In a circular addressed to administrative officials, the Minister explained that this decision comes in the context of keeping pace with current structural developments and changes, and strengthening the decentralized services of the ministry and courts.

According to the circular, the rotation movement will affect administrative officials who have spent four complete years in their position of responsibility at the same workplace, with the possibility of renewal only once.

The Minister emphasized that this measure aims to:

  • Inject new blood into administrative services
  • Avoid keeping administrative officials in the same position for extended periods
  • Overcome administrative stagnation and problems
  • Improve management performance in administrative units

The Minister of Justice called on officials to demonstrate seriousness, responsibility, and citizenship in providing services to users, and to work on establishing cooperation and coordination with all stakeholders in the administrative unit under their supervision.

It is worth noting that this decision falls within the framework of reforms being undertaken by the Ministry of Justice to modernize judicial administration and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
