“His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, presided over the appointment of several officials to key constitutional institutions on Monday, March 24, 2025. The appointments are as follows:
Abdelkader Amara as President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council.
Mohamed Benalilou as President of the National Authority for Integrity, Prevention, and Fight Against Corruption.
Hassan Tariq as Ombudsman of the Kingdom.
These appointments reflect His Majesty’s commitment to ensuring that these institutions fulfill their constitutional mandates, reinforcing principles of good governance, participatory democracy, and the protection of rights and freedoms.
Furthermore, they underscore the King’s dedication to strengthening the role of these independent constitutional bodies, injecting new dynamism into their missions, and enhancing their cooperation with national institutions to support Morocco’s ongoing reforms and major development projects.”
