On Monday morning, March 10, members of the police in the Fes New District, Dar Al-Debibgh, managed to arrest a taxi driver suspected of being involved in a case related to insults, abusive language, and public indecency.
According to a statement from the Directorate General of National Security, the arrest came after a video went viral on social media showing the driver committing actions that tarnish public decency in the street, in addition to verbally abusing another road user. Thanks to the investigation and research carried out by the security services, the suspect’s identity was determined, and he was arrested.
The taxi driver has been held under provisional detention, pending a judicial investigation overseen by the competent public prosecutor, in order to reveal all the circumstances and details of the case.
