The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has announced that snowfall, heavy rainfall—sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms and local hail—as well as strong wind gusts are expected from Sunday to Monday in several provinces across the Kingdom.
According to an orange-level alert bulletin issued by the DGM, snowfall exceeding 20 to 40 cm above 1,600 meters is expected from Sunday at 12:30 PM to Monday at 11:00 PM in the provinces of Ifrane, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Taza, and Midelt.

Snowfall ranging from 5 to 10 cm is also anticipated during the same period in the provinces of Guercif, Boulemane, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, Khénifra, Al Haouz, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Chichaoua, and Taroudant.
Additionally, heavy rainfall—sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms and local hail—is expected from Sunday at 12:30 PM to Monday at 6:00 PM, with accumulations ranging from 60 to 90 mm in the provinces of Tanger-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq, Chefchaouen, Tétouan, Taounate, Taza, Ouezzane, Larache, and Al Hoceima.
This orange-level alert phenomenon is also forecast for Monday from 12:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the provinces of Ifrane, Béni Mellal, Azilal, and Khénifra, with precipitation ranging between 30 and 50 mm. The DGM added that accumulations of 20 to 30 mm are also expected on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM in the provinces of Kénitra, Safi, El Jadida, Khémisset, Khouribga, Rabat, Salé, Skhirate-Témara, Médiouna, Casablanca, Berrechid, Benslimane, Nouaceur, Mohammedia, and Sidi Bennour.
Furthermore, strong wind gusts (70 to 85 km/h) are expected on Sunday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM in the provinces of Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Fahs-Anjra, Tanger-Assilah, Tétouan, M’diq-Fnideq, Ifrane, Boulemane, El Hajeb, Taza, Meknès, Fès, Kénitra, Khémisset, Rabat, Skhirate-Témara, Salé, Benslimane, Médiouna, Sidi Bennour, Sefrou, El Jadida, Berrechid, Mohammedia, Nouaceur, Casablanca, Safi, Midelt, and Ouarzazate.
Similar gusts with an orange-level alert are expected on Monday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM in Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Tétouan, Boulemane, Midelt, and Figuig, the same source concluded.
