On Tuesday morning, February 25, members of the Anti-Gang Squad at the Fez Security Directorate arrested a person suspected of being involved in the possession and trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, based on accurate information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (GDTS).
According to the available information, the suspect was arrested upon his arrival at the railway station in Fez, coming from a city in the north of the Kingdom on a train, and the search operation resulted in the discovery of 1800 narcotic pills in his possession, including 1500 Zepam pills and 300 Revotrel hallucinogenic pills.
The suspect was taken into custody pending the judicial investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, with the aim of uncovering all the circumstances of the case and identifying the extensions of this criminal activity.
