The game’s only goal came in the 69th minute, courtesy of Hamza Afsal, securing three crucial points for Maghreb Fes in their push for a higher league position. Chabab Mohammedia had a golden opportunity to take the lead earlier in the match, but Ahmed El Houari missed a penalty in the 21st minute, leaving the score level until Maghreb Fes finally broke the deadlock.
The match took a dramatic turn as Maghreb Fes found themselves down to nine men. Anas Moulehamy received a red card in the 52nd minute, followed by his teammate Reda Hanawi, who was sent off in the 66th minute.
