The event attracted a large turnout from the Moroccan diaspora and visitors of various nationalities. This exceptional exhibition runs for three days, from February 21 to 23, welcoming guests daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.
The expo offers a unique opportunity to experience the Ramadan atmosphere in the heart of Europe, featuring a diverse array of authentic Moroccan products. These include traditional crafts, textiles and fashion, natural cosmetics, handmade decorations and antiques, as well as a variety of specialty food products that reflect the richness of Moroccan cuisine.
Speaking to Fes News, Moroccan exhibitor Hussein Fadil, originally from the Souss-Massa-Draa region, emphasized the event’s role in preserving and promoting Moroccan cultural identity among new generations and European communities. He stated:
“The exhibition is an exceptional opportunity to showcase the rich diversity of Moroccan heritage. We are here to present our traditional products, from Argan oil and Amlou to handcrafted decorations and textiles. The first day saw an encouraging turnout, and we expect Saturday and Sunday to be even more lively, especially as the Moroccan community seeks Ramadan essentials that reflect their identity and traditions.”
The opening day was marked by the presence of notable figures and a large number of Moroccan expatriates, who expressed admiration for the event’s organization and the authentic Ramadan ambiance it brings to Brussels.
This exhibition serves as a valuable opportunity for heritage enthusiasts to explore unique Moroccan products and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan amid decorations, sounds, and flavors that bring the essence of Morocco to the heart of Belgium’s capital.
