The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform announced that Morocco will revert to the Kingdom’s legal clock, based on Greenwich Mean Time, as of 3:00 am on Sunday, February 23, 2025, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
This change comes in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of Decree No. 2.18.855 of 16 Safar 1440 (corresponding to October 26, 2018) concerning the Kingdom’s legal clock, the ministry said in a communiqué.
After the end of Ramadan, sixty minutes will be added to the legal clock at 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 06, 2025, the communiqué added.
